SWSS Identity X is the product interface through which individuals and institutions interact with SWSS IVL — on-chain identity, zero-knowledge ownership proof and asset inheritance management on a purpose-built RWA settlement layer.
An asset record without an identity behind it is a number in a database. Identity X anchors every real-world asset record to a KYC-verified human or institutional identity issued by the Identity Verification Layer, enforced at consensus rather than checked by an application. The credential is non-transferable by design: an asset can change hands, but the identity that held it cannot be handed to someone else, which is the property that makes a chain record legible to a registry or a court.
Every ownership event is permanently attested under SCP v3.1.4 with deterministic sub-second finality and a Finality Certificate, so no record can be altered, lost or forged across borders. Privacy is the other half of the same problem and is solved at protocol level rather than by policy: SCP-ZK v3.3.0 lets an owner prove what they hold without publishing it, and every disclosure is selective, time-bound and revocable. There are no silent reads and no third-party leakage, because a grant that was never issued cannot be exercised.
Authority is distributed rather than held by the platform. NodeX validators, banks, insurers, law firms and wealth managers co-sign the records their own clients hold, authorised through the IVL Provider Registry — so the institution a client already trusts is the institution attesting their record. Identity X is the interface to that arrangement; SWSS NodeX operates the validator set that carries it.
Ownership Models
| Model | How ownership is held |
|---|---|
| Direct Individual | Natural-person ownership of a deed, bound to one verified human and transferable only through identity-attested settlement |
| Fiduciary | Trust, estate, executor and probate structures, with multi-party authority encoded into the deed itself and NodeX co-signature |
| Institutional | Bank, insurer, wealth manager and corporate vehicles, with verifiable on-chain custody under the IVL Institutional Custody Framework |
Encoding the model into the deed matters because succession is where most digital asset systems fail. An asset held by a natural person who dies, or by a trust whose trustees change, needs an authority path that survives the event — and a path improvised per asset after the fact is not one. This is why inheritance belongs in the identity product rather than in each platform that touches an asset.
Disclosure Control
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Selective Disclosure | Share one asset, one field or one purpose through SCP-ZK v3.3.0 proofs — never the whole portfolio |
| Time-Bound Access | Grants expire automatically; no third party holds standing access |
| Revocation | Access is withdrawn through the live IVL credential rather than by asking a counterparty to delete their copy |
The distinction from conventional disclosure is that nothing is handed over. A verifier receives a proof that a statement is true, not the record the statement was derived from, so there is no copy sitting in a counterparty's system to be leaked, subpoenaed or retained after the relationship ends. That is the difference between privacy as a policy commitment and privacy as a property of the protocol.
