SWSS DEX is the final liquidity component of the ecosystem, completing the closed loop from deed settlement to on-chain price discovery.
An asset can be settled on chain and still be priced somewhere else, which puts the most consequential number about that asset outside the system that settles it. SWSS DEX closes that gap: a native decentralised exchange on SWSS Chain providing on-chain liquidity for SWSS Coin and for DEED-1 settled assets, with trading pairs anchored to SWSS Coin so the settlement currency stays at the centre of price discovery.
It is an on-chain order book rather than a venue with an on-chain component. Orders are matched on chain at the network's sub-second finality with deterministic execution — no off-chain books, no private matching servers, and no state that exists only inside the operator. Limit and market order types are supported at professional grade, which is the floor for any venue an institution is expected to route through.
Liquidity provision is capital-efficient and incentivised through the Stake Gravity Protocol described in Tokenomics: concentrated ranges give tighter spreads and stronger provider rewards paid in SWSS Coin, and the same locking mechanism compresses circulating supply. Exchange activity is not exempt from the economics of the layer it runs on — every trade consumes SWSS Coin as gas and applies the Transactional Settlement Levy, permanently retiring a fraction of each settlement.
Exchange Capabilities
| Capability | Detail |
|---|---|
| On-Chain Order Book | Transparent liquidity settled at SWSS Chain speed — no off-chain books and no private servers |
| Limit & Market Orders | Professional order types matched on chain with deterministic execution at sub-second finality |
| Concentrated Liquidity | Capital-efficient provider ranges for tighter spreads, with rewards paid in SWSS Coin |
| MEV Protection | Batched matching and private order flow neutralise sandwich attacks, front-running and toxic re-ordering |
| Oracle Layer | Time-weighted average pricing combined with external feeds |
| Cross-Chain Routing | Routing to assets on other networks through the SWSS Bridge layer — after launch, not at it |
| Audit Hooks | Read-only proofs published on chain for independent verification |
| Governance | Fee curves and listings decided by on-chain governance rather than by an operator |
MEV protection is worth stating plainly because it is the tax most on-chain venues quietly impose. Where order flow is public before it settles, a participant can be front-run by anyone watching the queue, and the cost lands on ordinary traders. Batched matching removes the window that attack depends on. It is not a policy against front-running; it is an execution model in which the opportunity does not exist.
SWSS DEX is not built. The capabilities above are the design of record, and cross-chain routing is explicitly a post-launch phase — consistent with SWSS Bridge, whose full cross-chain interoperability is itself scheduled to follow this launch. This document makes no price prediction and no promise of return, yield or appreciation; Risk Factors sets out the risks.
