SWSS Chain has been in continuous development since Q1 2019. Every milestone listed below is a matter of on-chain or public record.
The two dates that matter most are checkable without reference to this document. The validator testnet programme commenced in May 2025, and SWSS Chain mainnet produced its first block on 12 May 2026 — the interval between them is the 365+ days of validator-operated testing this document refers to, and the second date is carried in the genesis record of the chain itself rather than asserted here.
This section is the development record: what has been delivered, and the protocol track ahead of it. It deliberately prints no delivery date for a product that has not launched. Those are maintained per product on Product Milestones, which is edited as delivery moves rather than as a document is revised, and each product page carries its own launch period. A date written in two places is a date that will eventually disagree with itself, and this document would rather send a reader to the one that is current.

This is the record rather than the plan, which is why every node on it has already happened. Forward dates are owned by the milestone tracker and published from there, so a period that moves moves in one place rather than in a sentence somebody has to remember to edit.

Delivery Ahead
Seven products remain to launch across 2026 and 2027: SWSS InfraX bringing the Compute Deed standard live, SWSS AI OwlX v1 bringing the agent platform live and with it the AI Agent Identity record, SWSS Pay across its payment rails, the SWSS Draw migration to SWSS Chain with its marketplace, SWSS Identity X as the global asset identity registry, SWSS REALM as a web application and Telegram interface followed by mobile, SWSS Travel, and SWSS DEX. The full public release of SWSS App follows the same schedule. Each is described in The SWSS Ecosystem, and each has a page carrying its own launch period.
The delivery period for every one of them is published on Product Milestones, with its current status, and is maintained there rather than here. A planned period describes when a launch is scheduled; it is not a commitment that it will occur in that quarter, and nothing in this section is a forecast or a promise of return. Where a product is already live, it appears in the completed record above and on the ecosystem pages with the network it settles on named.
What Comes Next
This section is the record of what has been delivered. Where the protocol goes from here — the production stack running today, the planned forward tracks and the capabilities still under research, each against what it delivers for settlement — is set out in The Future of SWSS Chain. It is stated once, there, so that a version and its status cannot be described two ways on one site.
